Jason L.

Jason L. is an Engineering Director at Joby Aviation, leading the development and FAA certification of flight-critical systems for the eVTOL platform. Previously, they held various roles at Bell Flight, including Software Engineer IV and FAA Designated Engineering Representative, where they focused on DO-178B/C compliance and safety-critical software development. Jason has a strong background in avionics, systems engineering, and certification processes, having contributed to numerous successful projects without major findings. They are currently pursuing a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Baylor University and an M.S. in Software Engineering from Southern Methodist University, along with graduate coursework in Aerospace Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington.
