John Bouma

John Bouma is an experienced aerospace professional currently serving as Director of Safety & Certification at Bell Flight since June 2017, where responsibilities include supporting civil certification efforts for Bell commercial products in the US and Canada. Prior to this role, John held various key positions at Textron Aviation, including Director of Quality Assurance Assembly Operations and Manager of Quality Assurance for Beechcraft Defense Company. John's extensive career also includes significant roles at Cessna Aircraft Company, where John was Director of Engineering and Lead ODA Administrator, along with prior engineering positions at Pratt & Whitney Canada. John Bouma holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Ryerson University and graduated with honors from North Lambton Secondary School.
