Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and logistics, currently serving as a Sr Project Manager for Future Vertical Lift at Bell Flight since July 2004. Matthew has held various roles within the company, including Value Stream Manager for Drive Systems, where responsibilities included executing lean tools to enhance quality and minimize waste throughout the supply chain. Matthew's previous positions include managing post-delivery support activities for V22 aircraft and directing logistics integration efforts to ensure successful program execution. Prior to Bell Flight, Matthew served in the United States Marine Corps for over 20 years, advancing through various technical and leadership roles in aviation maintenance. Matthew holds an Executive MBA from The University of Texas at Arlington, alongside multiple certifications and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
