Rod Beechey

Chief Aircrew Training Devices

Rod Beechey is an experienced professional in the aviation training simulation industry, currently serving as Chief Aircrew Training Devices Engineer at Bell Helicopter since April 2004. In this role, Rod oversees the development of flight training devices for various military and commercial helicopters, including the CV/MV-22, UH-1Y, AH-1Z, and Bell's commercial simulation training systems. Prior to this position, Rod worked as a Project Engineer for H-1 FTD/FFS Simulation at Bell Helicopter V-22 Sim from 2000 to 2004, and as Aircrew Training Devices Manager at Link Flight Simulation from 1989 to 1998. Rod also held the position of Avionics Lead Engineer for the F-16 UTD. Rod holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Southern Methodist University, obtained between 2007 and 2009, and a degree from Binghamton University, completed from 1981 to 1985.
