Scott McGowan has extensive experience in the aerospace and military sectors, primarily with Bell Helicopter, where Scott served as Vice President and Program Director for H-1 Programs and Fire Scout since 2010. Prior to this role, Scott held significant positions within the U.S. Marine Corps, including Branch Head APP-1 and Commanding Officer of Marine Aircraft Group 49, and was responsible for training all AH-1 and UH-1 pilots as Commanding Officer of Marine Helicopter Training Squadron 303. Scott's military career started as a Safety Officer and Instructor with Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron 1. Education includes a Master’s degree in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Washington State University. Currently enjoying retirement in Bonsall, CA, Scott remains proud of contributions to the military aviation community.
