Jan Chen

Jan is a respected and trusted advisor on all matters relating to real estate and consents under the Overseas Investment Act 2005.

Jan is a senior associate in Bell Gully's real estate and projects team. She has significant experience advising clients on the acquisition, disposal, development and leasing of real estate. Jan has also worked on a number of applications for consent under the Overseas Investment Act 2005, including applications for sensitive land and/or significant business assets, and retrospective consents.

Jan has demonstrated success acting for clients across a large number of industries including land development, construction, infrastructure, project management, forestry and agribusiness. Jan has acted for a number of local and international finance institutions on property financing projects, and is experienced in all aspects of real estate developments from the initial acquisition of undeveloped land, advising on pre-sales and undertaking the subdivision process.

Jan is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese, building strong relationships with many clients from the Asian region during her time at Bell Gully​.
