Matthew Baxter

Matthew Baxter is the Director of Equity Capital Markets at Bell Potter Securities, where they have worked since 2016, advising growth and mid-market companies on equity capital market transactions. With two decades of experience as an advisor and investor, they have played a pivotal role in managing notable IPOs, including those of Life360, Inc, and Afterpay Holdings. Prior to this position, Matthew served as a Director of Private Equity at Hastings Funds Management for eleven years and held an Executive role at SBC Warburg from 1990 to 1995. Matthew earned an MBA from Melbourne Business School and holds a Bachelor of Economics from La Trobe University, along with a Graduate Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
