Stephen Weldon

Stephen Weldon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and social responsibility within the corporate sector. Currently serving as the Sustainability Data Reporting Manager at Bellway Homes since January 2023, Weldon previously held the role of Head of Sustainability from December 2014 to July 2022, where key achievements included the development of the company's 'Better with Bellway' sustainability strategy. Prior to Bellway, Weldon was the Social Responsibility Manager at Greggs PLC, overseeing the company's social responsibility initiatives and achieving Carbon Trust Standard certification. Additional experience includes serving as Director at CR Consulting and Group Commercial Manager at The Go-Ahead Group plc, where significant contributions were made to corporate responsibility practices and business transformations. Weldon holds an MA in Ancient History and a BA Hons in Classical Studies from Newcastle University.
