Andy Jacob

Andy Jacob is a communications specialist with significant experience in the public and nonprofit sectors, particularly in K-12 education policy. From 2012 to 2022, they served as a Partner in External Communications at TNTP, where they led the organization's communications strategy and helped position it as a leading voice on teacher effectiveness. Prior to that, Andy held the role of Deputy Press Secretary at the NYC Department of Education, managing communications for key education reforms. They began their career as a teacher, instructing geometry and algebra to high school students. Andy earned a BA in History from Stanford University in 2004.
