Bellwether
Anson Jackson is a seasoned educator and leader in the field of education, currently serving as a Partner and Senior Adviser at Bellwether Education Partners since May 2021. Prior to this role, Anson held various positions within Uplift Education, including Deputy Chief of Schools and managing director, as well as serving as Superintendent at Summit Public Schools from August 2018 to June 2020. Anson's career began with teaching mathematics at KIPP Dallas-Fort Worth and Grand Prairie ISD, following a commitment to education as a Corp Member with Teach For America. Anson holds a Master of Education in educational leadership and policy from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in discrete mathematics from The University of Kansas.
