David Casalaspi

David Casalaspi, PhD, is a seasoned education policy professional with over 10 years of experience at the intersection of research, policy, and practice within academic, governmental, and nonprofit sectors. They have served in various capacities, including as a policy analyst for the Mayor's Offices of Charlottesville and Detroit, and as a senior policy analyst for the National Governors Association. Currently, David is an Associate Partner of Policy and Evaluation at Bellwether, while also working as an Education Researcher at the Institute of Education Sciences and an adjunct professor at The Johns Hopkins University. Their educational background includes pursuing a Ph.D. in Education Policy at Michigan State University and holding a B.A. with Distinction in History from the University of Virginia.
