Thomas Moons is an accomplished hotelier with extensive experience in management roles across various prestigious Belmond properties. Currently serving as Area Managing Director for Spain and Portugal since January 2024, Thomas oversees the Reid's Palace team in addition to fulfilling duties as General Manager of La Residencia. Thomas previously held the position of General Manager at La Residencia from December 2020 and at Miraflores Park from June 2016 to December 2020. Prior roles include General Manager at La Résidence Phou Vao and Resident Manager at La Résidence d'Angkor, as well as key positions such as Rooms Division Manager at Governor's Residence and Front Office Manager at Pullman Eindhoven Cocagne. Thomas began career in hospitality at Crowne Plaza properties, gaining experience as a Duty Manager and Front Office Supervisor. Thomas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from Zuyd University of Applied Sciences and studied at Hotelschool Hasselt.
