Described as the leading criminal defence solicitors in Norfolk by the Legal 500 guide, Belmores Solicitors is a specialist criminal defence firm based in Norwich.

Established in 1981, Belmores has carved out a formidable national reputation for excelling in all aspects of criminal defence for both private and legal aid clients, even a few celebrities mixed in for good measure too. Belmores Solicitors is spearheaded by industry heavyweights Simon Nicholls and Dave Foulkes, who are renowned within the Criminal Justice System and represent a unique and potent blend of passion, knowledge and tradecraft.

Our track record is the envy of others in criminal defence. In fact, 98.7% of our clients say they would recommend us to a friend in need. This success is built on our wealth of knowledge, our representation skills and our rigorous processes, but importantly, it’s also built on the strength of relationships developed over the last four decades.

We’re all about solving people’s problems swiftly and with the minimum of fuss, not winning awards or accreditations….having said that, we’re delighted that independent publications such as The Legal 500 and Chambers Law Directory rate Belmores Solicitors year after year as one of the leading criminal defence firms in the East Anglia region.

Specialist criminal defence advice from Belmores Solicitors is available in East Anglia and nationwide from directors Simon or Dave at any time, day or night, 365 days a year – ensuring that expert legal help is available to Belmores clients when it is needed the most.
