David Simmonds

David Simmonds is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in supply chain management and application development. Currently serving as the Supply Chain Technical Lead for Belron® International since July 2021, David spearheads initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency across Europe and the Rest of the World. Prior to this role, David was employed at Office Depot UK for 17 years, where responsibilities included leading a team of over 65 professionals to implement Oracle Cloud financial platforms and managing data engineering teams for strategic analytics. David's extensive career also includes positions such as Contract Analyst Programmer at De Beers, Project Leader at Independent Insurance, and Analyst/Programmer at Moores Furniture, demonstrating a robust skillset in system development, project management, and financial compliance. David holds a Higher National Diploma in Computer Studies from the University of North Wales.
