Albert Chan has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Albert started their career in 2002 as a Consultant at Sean John, where they worked on multi-categories designing tees, knits, woven, denim, and outerwear. Albert also created technical packages for overseas counterparts and assisted in the development of trims and embroideries.

In 2005, Albert became a Senior Designer at Check Group LLC, where they worked until 2007. Albert then joined Champion as a Consultant, collaborating with the designer on the sportswear and knits division. Albert'sresponsibilities included creating presentation boards, making technical sketches, and providing new designs and color stories for seasonal designs.

Albert's next role was as a Consultant at Sears Holdings Corporation in 2006, where they worked until 2008. During this time, they also worked as a Consultant at Sean John, designing denim bodies and creating technical packages for the Blue Label and sportswear apparel. Albert developed and engineered stripe layouts and collaborated with overseas counterparts.

From 2007 to 2008, Albert worked as a Designer at Sean John, focusing on designing menswear.

In 1999, Albert started their own fashion line, Albert Chan Inc., as a Designer. Albert was responsible for all aspects of the design process, including market research, mood board creation, designing, flat sketching, and specing of all garments. Albert also made first and production patterns and conducted fittings. Albert worked on their self-titled line until 2010.

Albert worked on various categories, including outerwear, leathers, denim, knits/sweaters, woven shirts, bottoms, shoes, hats, and gloves.

Albert Chan attended the Fashion Institute of Technology from 1988 to 1993, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Fashion Design. Prior to that, Albert attended the High School of Art and Design, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Illustration.
