What does Belú mean?
"Belú" means "come in" or "be welcome to my house" in Garífuna language. Garífuna language, formerly also called Black Carib language, is an Arawakan language spoken by over 200,000 people in Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua. 

We chose this name for our business because of its meaning: The reason is that with our impact model and purpose-driven business, we will strive to make everyone feel welcome and connect with locals in a sustainable & holistic way.
