Beluga Subsea provides Variable Buoyancy Systems (VBS) as a service to offshore energy and marine contractors, solving complex subsea lifting and handling challenges. Our VBS complements topside cranes by offering depth‑independent, on‑demand buoyancy and precise soft‑landing control, enabling safe lifts in confined spaces and above subsea structures.

We remove common bottlenecks, limited crane SWL, wire length, short lifting windows (WOW), and the need to place vessels inside exclusion zones, by integrating VBS with ROV. Compared with air bags and fixed buoyancy, VBS delivers predictable lift behavior across depths and faster deployment without time‑consuming stacking.

Our turnkey service includes pre‑project engineering, mobilisation, trained operators, ROV integration, on‑site operation, and post‑job reporting. Benefits are clear: improved safety, extended operational windows, reduced vessel time and costs, and higher first‑time‑right installation rates.

Beluga Subsea focuses on practical, repeatable solutions that lower project risk and increase efficiency. Contact us to evaluate how VBS can streamline your next subsea lift.
