Belvac was founded in 1962 in Lynchburg Virginia by Alphonse Stroonbants, under the name Belgium Tool and Die, specializing in high quality precision machining. Stroonbants instilled philosophies of quality, pride, work ethic and craftsmanship into his business. This provided the foundation for Belgium Tool and Die to grow and convert innovative ideas into production machinery which has revolutionized the can making industry.
