Katie Crowhurst

Katie Crowhurst has a diverse background, currently serving as a Midday Supervisor at Warren Road Primary School since December 2019. Concurrently, Katie fulfills the role of a stay-at-home mum and works as a mystery shopper with BeMyEye, along with volunteering as a part-time Crèche assistant at Sunbeams. Previous experience includes a significant tenure at Electrical Contractors' Insurance Company Ltd from 1999 to May 2016, where Katie managed a £2.5 million GWP portfolio as a Commercial Underwriter and developed relationships with over 500 brokers. Additional roles in the insurance sector include Assistant Underwriter and Insurance Assistant, complemented by freelance experience as a proofreader and editor. Academically, Katie holds a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute and an Advanced Diploma in Administrative Management from the Institute of Administrative Management, along with 9 GCSEs and 3 A Levels from Darrick Wood. An Enhanced DBS Check has also been obtained.
