Deyan Mihaylov has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Deyan started their career in 2012 as a Customer Service Representative at Sales-Promotions.com, where they worked until April 2014. In 2013, they joined AIESEC Bulgaria as a Trainer, contributing to the development of young people. Deyan also served as the Team Leader for the Organizational Committee for the EuroLDS 2014 Conference, a strategic event aimed at inspiring young leaders. In 2014, they transitioned to Benamic, where they held the position of Customer Service Manager until September 2020. Currently, they are working at Benamic as the Client Success Team Lead. Additionally, in 2014, Deyan had a short stint at AIESEC Moldova as the Vice President of Business Development, responsible for selling AIESEC projects and developing soft skills in young individuals.

Deyan Mihaylov completed a Bachelor's degree in Management in Tourism from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" from 2008 to 2012. In 2010, they also participated in an Erasmus program at Wyższa Szkoła Zarządzania w Warszawie - The Polish Open University, studying Business Administration and Management. Afterwards, from 2016 to 2017, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Economics - Varna.
