Michael Quinlan

Michael Quinlan is currently an Entrepreneur in Residence at Sutter Hill Ventures, where they explore innovative solutions in machine learning and robotics. They have a rich background in research and education, having served as a Research Scientist and Educator at the University of Texas at Austin, where they taught autonomous vehicle courses and conducted studies in humanoid robotics. Previously, Michael co-founded Bench Computing, Inc. and worked as a Founding Engineer at Clover Network, contributing to a cloud-based point-of-sale platform. They also held positions at Google, including Software Engineer and Technical Lead at Google X, and have been actively involved in machine learning initiatives at Everyday Robots. Michael obtained a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Newcastle in 2006.
