Alan Marnett is the Founder and CEO of BenchFly, a company focused on bridging the gap between education and the workplace through video, operating since May 2009. In addition to this role, Marnett serves on the boards of several organizations including the Tennessee Coalition for Health Science and BioSTEM Education, the National Career Academy Coalition, and the Vanderbilt University ASPIRE Program, all aimed at enhancing science and technology education and career readiness. Marnett holds a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neuroscience from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from the University of California, San Francisco, along with earlier education at UC San Diego and Trinity University.
