Aaron Kimball

Aaron Kimball has a strong background in technology and engineering. Aaron is currently working as the Head of Engineering - Applications at Benchling, where they lead the software engineering team. Prior to this, Aaron has worked as an Advisor at both Shiru and LabGenius. Aaron also served as the CTO at Zymergen, Inc., where they led the Technology department and grew it to a team of 160+ professionals. Aaron co-founded WibiData, a company focused on big data applications, and worked as an Engineer at Cloudera. Aaron started their career as an intern at Google and Microsoft.

Aaron Kimball earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Cornell University from 2002 to 2006. Aaron then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Washington from 2006 to 2008.
