Cindy Sun

Cindy Sun is an accomplished tax professional currently serving as the Head of Tax and Treasury at Benchling since July 2025. With a career spanning over fifteen years, Cindy has held prominent positions including Director of Global Corporate Tax at HashiCorp, where responsibilities included international and domestic tax planning, compliance, and supporting the IPO process, as well as Senior Tax Manager at Canadian Solar Inc., overseeing tax planning and compliance for multiple offices. Previous roles encompass Tax Manager at Guidewire Software and International Tax Provision Manager at Oracle, among others, with a solid foundation in tax provision preparation and compliance initiated at Grant Thornton LLP. Cindy holds a Master of Taxation from Golden Gate University and an MBA in Accounting from San Francisco State University.
