Don Maszle

Don Maszle is an experienced solutions architect currently at Benchling since July 2020, with a diverse background in data science and bioinformatics. Previously, Don served as Director of IT and Data Science at Plant Response, where leadership was provided during significant corporate transitions and the establishment of global IT architecture. At Koch Biological Solutions, Don directed data science initiatives for plant biostimulant R&D, while earlier roles included directing computational biology at Mendel Biotechnology, where key analytical techniques were employed for biotechnology-enabled seed breeding. Don's extensive experience is complemented by a strong educational foundation, including a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
