Karen Gu

Karen Gu is a Software Engineer at Benchling, a position held since June 2020, following a series of roles in software engineering and research. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Researcher at the MIT Computational Psycholinguistics Lab, focusing on computational models of language, and interning at edX, where tasks were automated for continuous integration and a language-specific plugin was developed. Additional internships at Benchling and Convergence CT provided opportunities to implement features and develop frontends using various technologies, including Python, React/Redux, and AWS. Karen Gu holds a Bachelor's Degree in computer science and molecular biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completed in 2020.
