Mustafa Jamil

Mustafa Jamil has extensive work experience in various technology companies. Mustafa started their career at Sapient, Inc. as a Senior Associate, Technology, where they worked on projects such as Opodo.com. Mustafa then joined Levanta as a Manager, Quality Engineering, where they managed a team and enforced engineering standards. Mustafa later became a Staff Engineer at Levanta, where they provided key functionality for the company's systems management and storage appliance.

Mustafa then moved to VMware, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Member Of Technical Staff, Senior Manager of Product Infrastructure, and Senior Manager of vCenter Deployment Infrastructure. In these roles, they developed and managed products and teams, collaborating with various enterprise product teams.

Mustafa then became a Co-founder of Netkine Inc., where they built a public IaaS cloud based on OpenStack and managed various aspects of the business, including software development and customer support. After that, they served as the Director of Engineering at Bitnami before joining Square as a Senior Engineering Manager. At Square, they led multiple teams, including the Accounting Engineering team and the Underwriting Platform team.

Currently, Mustafa is working at Benchling as the Head of Infrastructure and Site Reliability Engineering.

Mustafa Jamil attended Stanford University from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Karachi Grammar School, but no specific degree or field of study information was provided for that period.
