Samson King is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in laboratory automation and robotics programming. Currently, Samson serves as a Software Engineer at Benchling since September 2023. Previously, as a Senior Software Engineer at Shopify from May 2021 to May 2023, development and maintenance of Node.js microservices in TypeScript were conducted, enhancing the fulfillment logic of an automated robotic warehouse system. At Universal Robots A/S, from March 2018 to April 2021, Samson led a team to create a new web-based platform for programming robotic arms. Earlier roles included Laboratory Automation Engineer positions at Takeda Pharmaceuticals and HighRes Biosolutions, during which Samson designed scheduling software and developed a core automation codebase. Samson holds a Bachelor of Science in Robotics Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, completed in 2012.
