Sewon Sohn

Sewon Sohn is currently a Product Support Analyst at Benchling since October 2023. Previously, Sewon served as a Digital Transformation Intern at Genentech from June 2022 to December 2022, where contributions included supporting digital transformation efforts and developing infrastructure for lab instrument data. During this role, Sewon also generated SQL queries for dashboard creation and designed an assay information system with automated web tests using Cypress. Sewon's earlier experience includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Korea University from January 2021 to July 2021, focusing on quantitative neuroimaging and analyzing tau protein impacts on Alzheimer’s disease using machine learning techniques. Sewon holds a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, earned between 2019 and 2023, and a High School Diploma from Cebu International School through the International Baccalaureate program from 2017 to 2019.
