Travis B. Mitchell

Travis B. Mitchell is a seasoned legal professional with expertise in securities, capital markets, and diversity equity and inclusion. Currently serving as Legal Counsel for Benchling, Travis has successfully managed the company's equity program and implemented key updates on employment laws. As a Lead Diversity Equity and Inclusion Facilitator for Teach For America, Travis conducts impactful training sessions for corps members. Prior experience includes corporate law roles at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, where significant contributions were made to IPOs and major acquisitions, as well as work with the East Bay Community Law Center advocating for youth in the justice system. Travis holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Education in Mathematics Education from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Boston College.
