John Jackson

John Jackson has extensive experience in the legal field, particularly within the financial industry. John began their career at Blalack & Williams, P.C. as a Legal Counsel - Attorney specializing in litigation, regulatory counsel, and human resources issues for financial institutions and lenders. Within a year, they were appointed as the Lead Attorney in the collection of the litigation department.

In 2015, Jackson joined First Service Credit Union as the Chief Administrative Officer and In-House Counsel. John was a member of the Executive Leadership Team and responsible for all legal, compliance, and regulatory oversight. Additionally, they contributed to strategic initiatives for the growth and enhancement of products and services. Jackson also led various departments within the credit union on a rotational basis, including the contact center, human resources, facilities, and SBA lending. John represented the credit union in contract negotiation, dispute resolution, litigation, and real estate transactions, as well as before regulatory bodies.

Most recently, Jackson joined Benchmark Bank in 2018 as the SVP & General Counsel.

John Jackson attended The University of Texas at Dallas from 2006 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. John then pursued further education at the University of Arkansas from 2008 to 2011, obtaining a Juris Doctor degree.
