Erik has a background in production management and research chemistry, having worked at companies like Hydynamic Holland BV and AkzoNobel. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Hogeschool Enschede and completed studies in Chemical Technology at MTS Tilburg. Erik has also served as the Chairman of the standardization committee for toy safety.
