Javeese Smith

Javeese Smith is a Lean Sigma Champion at Benchmark since October 2023 and previously served as Plant Manager at Copperweld from September 2021 to June 2023. Javeese's extensive experience at Southwire Company spanned from January 2007 to February 2009, holding various positions including Department Manager, Machine Operator, Operations Support Manager, Ops Manager, Ops Specialist, Shift Supervisor, and Lean Manufacturing Manager for the South East Region 1. Javeese has successfully led cross-functional teams in lean manufacturing initiatives, utilizing methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Problem Solving, Standard Work, and SMED to enhance workplace safety, efficiency, and production while minimizing waste. Javeese holds a degree from the University of West Georgia, completed between 2014 and 2017.
