Mike Benson is an accomplished General Manager with extensive experience in operations and program management across various industries. Currently serving as General Manager at Benchmark since June 2018, Mike has previously held positions as Director of Programs and Senior Program Manager. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Morgan Advanced Materials as General Manager and at Precision Castparts as Operations Manager. Mike's expertise encompasses full P&L responsibility for a $30MM plant and the implementation of lean methodologies to enhance performance. Additionally, Mike has a strong background in plant and operations management, having progressed from Operations Manager to Plant Manager at Associated Spring, and has experience as Engineering Manager and Manufacturing Engineer at Howmet. Mike holds an MBA in Operations from Indiana University South Bend and a BS in Material Science Engineering from Purdue University.
