Robert-Maarten Schuurman

Robert-Maarten Schuurman is an experienced System Engineer and Design Engineer with a strong background in system architecture and firmware development. Currently employed at Benchmark since January 2019, Robert-Maarten has contributed to high-level design and risk analysis in the test and measurement industry and has led a design team for aerospace products. Prior roles include Firmware Engineer at Pushme, where responsibilities encompassed Li-ion battery pack design and firmware development, and Senior System Architect at Hatch, focusing on cellular cloud communications for asset tracking. Robert-Maarten also co-founded a consultancy agency specializing in embedded systems and has held various engineering internships while earning a Bachelor's degree in Embedded Systems Engineering at HAN University of Applied Sciences and a Premaster in Embedded Systems from the University of Twente.
