Dave Dramstad has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Dave started their career in 1982 as a Weapons Control Systems Mechanic in the US Air Force, where they served until 1986. In 1988, they joined DCA Engineering Software as a Programmer, working on various utilities in QuickBasic and C languages. Dave later became the lead programmer on the Advanced Design project, an AutoCAD add-on package for corridor design. Since 1991, Dave has been with Benchmark, Inc. as the IT Director, leading a 4-person IT department responsible for system/network administration, SQL Server administration, and custom programming.
Dave Dramstad attended Hawkeye Tech from 1986 to 1988, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Civil Engineering Technology. Dave then went on to pursue their studies at Iowa State University from 1992 to 1998, majoring in Civil Engineering. No specific degree name is provided for their time at Iowa State University.
