Brad Beechler has held various positions in the field of research and development since 2000. Brad began their career as a Teaching Assistant at Clarkson University, then moved on to become a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder from 2004-2007. Brad then went on to become a Post Doctoral (through CIRES) at the NOAA from 2007-2010, a Data Assimilation Expert at Precision Wind from 2010-2013, a Research Scientist at Vaisala from 2013-2016, a Staff Data Scientist, Senior Data Scientist - Weather Specialist, and Data Scientist - Weather Specialist at Uptake from 2016-2020, and most recently a Senior Machine Learning Scientist - Forecast Innovation at AccuWeather from 2020-2022.
Brad Beechler began their educational journey in 1992 when they graduated from Fayetteville Manlius High School with a HS degree in Science!. Brad then attended Clarkson University from 1996 to 2002 and earned an MS in Physics. Finally, Brad completed their education in 2009 when they obtained a PhD in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
