Ulrik Soderstrom

Ulrik Soderstrom is a seasoned entrepreneur and data science expert with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CSOO at Benchmark Labs Inc. since August 2021, Ulrik plays a pivotal role in delivering point-specific weather and wave forecasts for multiple industries. As a Venture Partner and Co-founder at Marvin's Angels, Ulrik focuses on supporting alumni from McKinsey & Company in their entrepreneurial ventures. Ulrik founded Leerly, which aims to innovate language learning methodologies. Previous roles include Engagement Manager at Voyance Group, Interim CSO at Monadd, Founders Fellow at Be On Deck, and founder of The Bit, all of which demonstrate a strong background in strategy, business development, and technology. Ulrik's earlier experience includes a significant tenure at McKinsey & Company, as well as data science positions at Arable Labs, Inc. and ROCSPOT. Ulrik holds both a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Data Science from the University of Rochester, complemented by a Bachelor's in Earth & Environmental Science.
