Jacqueline Sortor is an experienced Design Engineer, having worked in the industry since 2014. Jacqueline began their career as a Construction Engineer intern at Vermont Gas Systems in 2014. Jacqueline then moved on to become an ACE Lean Transformation Intern at UTC Aerospace Systems in 2015. In 2016, they were a Design Engineer Intern at Pratt & Whitney, where they designed, modeled, and 3D printed a tool to enhance the ability to produce a gas turbine brush seal, analyzed measured airfoil data, and assisted in testing a new machine. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at Hayward Tyler as both an Aftermarket Mechanical Design and Support Engineer and a Mechanical Engineer. In 2020, they began working as a Design Engineer at Benchmark Space Systems.

Jacqueline Sortor graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Communication.
