Lead GNC Engineer at Benchmark Space Systems

Richard Stelling has over 12 years of experience in the aerospace industry. Richard began their career in 2008 as a Test and Integration Intern at Aviation Communication Surveillance Systems. In 2010, they were a Student Intern at Arizona State University. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Research Technician for the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and a Scientific Applications Software Engineer I for NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. From 2015 to 2018, they were an Avionics Software Design Engineer for Masten Space Systems and then a Principal Avionics and GNC Engineer for Tesseract. Currently, they are a Lead GNC Engineer at Benchmark Space Systems.

Richard Stelling completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at Arizona State University from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Deer Valley High School from 2004 to 2008.
