Arnab Kundu

Dr. Arnab Kundu is currently the Vice President of Portfolio Performance Solutions at BenchSci. Dr. Kundu has over fifteen years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on innovation and data analytics.

Dr. Kundu began their career as a Visiting Scientist at IMEC in 2011. Arnab then went on to earn their Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 2013. After completing their Ph.D., Dr. Kundu joined McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager. Arnab spent six years at McKinsey, before joining Clarify Health Solutions as Senior Director and Segment Lead for Life Sciences in 2019.

In 2020, Dr. Kundu was recruited by AbbVie to serve as their Senior Director of Innovation. Arnab held this position for two years, before returning to BenchSci in July of 2022.

Dr. Kundu’s experience in the healthcare industry and their focus on data analytics makes him a valuable asset to BenchSci. Arnab's work has helped to improve the lives of patients around the world and their research has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals.

Arnab Kundu received their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Arnab went on to receive their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Engineering/Neuroscience from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. In addition, they have received certification from deeplearning.ai in Neural Networks and Deep Learning, as well as certification from Stanford University in Machine Learning.

Arnab Kundu reports to Liran Belenzon, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Mike Egan - VP, Customer Success & Integrations, Bryn Knox - VP, Finance, and Shezana Manji - VP, Growth.
