Bert Amato is an experienced investor and venture partner with a focus on transformative businesses. Currently serving as an investor at Auto Hauler Exchange and ProteinQure, Bert has been a venture partner at Golden Ventures since November 2014, where the emphasis is on seed-stage investments. Additionally, Bert has been an angel investor since September 1996 and co-founded Artworks for Cancer Foundation in June 2016, while also holding directorial and investment roles in various companies, including BenchSci, ChefHero, and Jiffy on Demand. An alumnus of the University of Toronto, Bert obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Honours from 1977 to 1981.
