Bill Gilpin

Bill Gilpin is an experienced professional in engineering management and product direction, currently leading the Machine Learning and Data team at BenchSci since July 2025. Previously, Bill served as Product Director for Analytics at Quantexa, overseeing analytics teams focused on scoring, LLMs, ML, and graph technologies. Prior roles include Head of Product at The Stepstone Group, Interim CPO/CTPO at Monolith, and Chief Product Officer at Adarga, where Bill emphasized strategic focus and value in AI/ML products. Bill has also held positions as Product Manager at Schibsted Media Group and Technical Project Manager at Google, along with diverse contractor roles in product and program management early in the career. Bill's educational background includes a BA and MA in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, an MSc in Data Science from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BSc in Psychology from The Open University.
