Elissa Currie

Elissa Currie is a Senior Product Marketing Manager at BenchSci, with a strong background in product marketing and scientific research. At BenchSci since August 2022, Elissa has held various roles, including Senior Scientist and Product Owner, focusing on platform development, creative solutions, and consulting in immunology and infectious disease. Prior to this, Elissa spent seven years at the University of Toronto, culminating in a PhD in Molecular Genetics, where research addressed immunity against meningococcus. Elissa also served as a teaching assistant in microbiology and gained laboratory experience at the Animal Health Laboratory. Elissa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology from the University of Guelph.
