Tony Solon

Tony Solon PhD is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and technology management. Currently serving as Director of Engineering, Data & ML at BenchSci, Tony leads a team focused on drug discovery solutions through knowledge graphs and data engineering. Previous roles include Senior Engineering Manager at BenchSci and Head of Data Science at Roqqett, a fintech startup acquired by Equals Money PLC. With a strong background in mentoring startups, Tony has co-founded multiple technology companies, including Keymailer Ltd, EventHalo, and Sure Sense Ltd, while also holding key positions at CogX and ImobiGo Ltd. Academic credentials include a PhD in Mobile Intelligent Multimedia from Ulster University and entrepreneurship fellowships from Harvard, MIT, and Stanford.
