Located in the second largest city on the west coast of Sumatra Island after Padang, Bencoolen Mall has became a center for entertainment, business, tourism, and an icon of Bengkulu since it was officially opened to the public in 2008.

It also has a 24-hour one-stop entertainment destination and alfresco dining of seafront view, which known as Bencoolen Hot Spot (BHS) and Sea View @Bencoolen, that includes tenants such as Bencoolen XXI, Hokben, David Black & Coffee, KFC, etc. In 2022, Bencoolen Avenue, which is the first phase of mall expansion, opened with additional national tenants such as Tawan, Executive, Optik Seis, Funworld, Sociolla, and so on. 

Along with the slogan 'Where The Festivities Begin', Bencoolen Mall always brings interesting events to the city with series of shows and promotions held at the main atrium. With 700,000 monthly visitors recorded, Bencoolen Mall has grown to be the biggest and most complete shopping mall in the province of Bengkulu serving a population of 2 million (2019).
