Dan Hein is a highly experienced rendering and tools programmer with a diverse background in game development. Currently serving as the Lead Rendering and Tools Programmer at Bend Studio since November 2019, Dan has previously held senior programming roles at Relic Entertainment, Creative Assembly, Big Fish Games, Electronic Arts, and Bioware Corp. With expertise in Unity3D, Dan has developed gameplay and tool infrastructure for multiple Free to Play mobile titles and contributed to physics-based animation technology at EA. Dan's extensive programming skills span various game systems, including UI, physics, rendering, and networking, supported by educational pursuits in Computer Science at Grande Prairie Regional College and the University of Alberta.
