Raymond Austin

Raymond Austin has worked in the quality assurance field since 1993. Raymond began their career as a Quality Assurance Practical Engineer at Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (VPG) in 1993. In 2004, they moved to BTI-2XL, where they worked as a Quality Assurance Technologist. In 2005, they were hired by Kai-Tek Electronics Group as a QA Manager. In 2007, they began working at Medical Electronic Systems as a QA Engineer. In 2018, they were hired by High Sec Labs as a Quality Manager. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Bendit Technologies as a QA Engineer, where they are responsible for assuring ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements, assuring policies and procedures are followed by R&D, Production and Engineering departments, and monitoring all activities related to product quality as needed to meet quality standards and to assure the meeting of customer requirements.

Raymond Austin has an extensive education history. Raymond obtained a Practical Engineer degree in Electrical and Control Engineering from ORT Colleges between 1986 and 1989. Raymond then obtained a Technician degree in Mechanical Engineering from ORT India between 1983 and 1986. Following that, they obtained a B.Eng in Electronics/Electrical Engineering from Coventry University (U.K.) in collaboration with Ruppin College, Israel from 1998 to 2002. Raymond then obtained a Certificate in “Quality Engineering” from Technion-Division of Continuing Education & External Studies between 2005 and 2006. Lastly, they obtained a B.Sc in Quality and Reliability Engineering from Kinneret Academic College between 2008 and 2012. In addition to their educational background, Raymond Austin has obtained several certifications, including Data Privacy and GDPR Lead Implementer's Course from DNV GL - Business Assurance India in October 2020, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2006, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor - CQI & IRCA Certified from DNV GL - Business Assurance India in October 2020, Israel Certified Quality Engineer (ICQE) from ISQ - Israel Society for Quality in December 2006, ISO 13485 Lead Auditor- Exemplar Global from AQS Solutions, a DEKRA Company in October 2020, and Senior Quality Expert from ISQ - Israel Society for Quality in March 2020.
