Vital Rom has been working in the technology industry since 2014. In that time, they have held a variety of roles. From 2014-2016, they were an R&D Clinical Engineer at Insuline Medical, where they cooperated between the clinical and R&D teams, supported the development of the 2nd generation device, and designed and tested new prototypes using SolidWorks. From 2016-2018, they were a QA Engineer and Team Leader at Bendit Technologies, where they were responsible for assuring ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements, monitoring all activities related to product quality, and assuring that policies and procedures were followed by R&D, Production and Engineering departments. Finally, from 2014-2016, they were a Product Manager Assistant at 2breathe Technologies Ltd., where they were involved in R&D, V&V, and clinical trials, including repairing prototypes, assembling and welding sensors, calibrating and implementing new device hardware, writing and executing testing protocols, debugging sensor and mobile app failures, managing a multi-country feasibility study, developing trial protocol, recruiting and supporting trial participants, and monitoring and collecting data.
Vital Rom graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering in 2016.
