Steve Kovach

Steve Kovach has extensive experience in educational leadership and community service. Currently serving as a Resident Assistant at Benedictine since May 2024, Steve assists residents with daily tasks and medication, highlighting a commitment to community support. Previously, Steve held key administrative roles, including Dean of Students and Assistant Principal at Kenwood Trail Middle School, Principal of Southwest Middle School with Albert Lea Area Schools, and Principal of Hastings Middle School for Hastings Public Schools. Throughout these positions, Steve excelled in staff development, performance evaluation, and strategic direction for educational institutions. Steve's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Minnesota State University, an Ed.S in Education Administration from the University of St. Thomas, and a Master's degree in Education from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
